4/21/13 update: Two weeks after WrestleMania, The Rock -- tweeted that he would undergo surgery to repair damage sustained during his -- WWE Championship clash with John Cena at The Show of Shows.

4/15/13 update: After first taking to Twitter last week to reveal that he was injured at WrestleMania, The Rock continued to update the WWE Universe on his condition via Twitter, stating that he and his doctors had elected not to reattach his tendons to his pelvis. Some of his recent tweets appeared during the April 15 Raw broadcast.4/8/13: The Rock brought down the house in his WWE Title defense against John Cena at WrestleMania 29, but The People’s Champion will, sadly, not be returning for an encore. In the course of his epic confrontation with the Cenation leader, Rock sustained an injury that will prevent him from appearing on Monday night's broadcast of Raw to address his title loss to Cena, the now–11-time WWE Champion. The Great One broke the news to the WWE Universe in a two-part tweet announcing the injury.
